Insurgent terrorists are committing destructive acts of violence with the intent to endanger the lives and properties of the people across the country.
On the afternoon of 3 August, following the report, security forces inspected the explosion that happened in the water supply compound in Pekhon Township, Shan State (South) and found a 100 kVA transformer, used in the water supply plant, blew up with a remote-controlled homemade mine. The explosion also damaged the surrounding materials, including the roof and doors of the building.
Security forces are reportedly investigating to take effective action against the perpetrators under the existing laws. — MNA
