Thabeikkyin Township receives 25-bed hospital

A new 25-bed hospital opened in Thabeikkyin, Mandalay Region, will greatly improve medical services in the area, Union Minister for Health Dr Than Aung told local residents at an opening ceremony on 23 March. Mandalay Region Minister for Social Affairs Dr Win Hlaing and officials cut a ribbon to open the hospital which was built using K645.5 million allotted by the government.
The union minister in the evening visited Central Women’s Hospital, the 500-bed children’s hospital and the Mandalay General Hospital, where he met specialists and nurses.–Thiha Ko Ko (Mandalay)
