Thai delegation led by Air Mashal Chainat Phonkit arrives in Myanma

According to the agreement of the 7th Air Working Group meeting between the Tatmadaw (Air) and the Royal Thai Air Force, five delegation members led by Air Marshal Chainat Phonkit from the Royal Thai Air Force arrived in Yangon on 8 May.
The delegation met the Commander-in-Chief (Air) and exchanged gifts on 9 May and observed the Gems Museum in Nay Pyi Taw before attending the dinner.
The delegation visited Uppatasanti Pagoda and white elephants in Nay Pyi Taw on 10 May. Then, they paid homage to the Maravijaya Buddha Image. In the afternoon, they arrived at the Flying Training Base and Air Operation Training School, an official explained the history of the base, the school and the procedures of the school.
Next, they visited the gallery at the headquarters of the Flying Training Base and visited the pilot training school, where an official explained the four types of aircraft and took a group photo with the pilot trainees. They paid homage to Nyaungpwapin Pagoda on 11 May and attended the dinner hosted by the commander of the Flying Training Base.
The delegation paid homage to Shwedagon and Botahtaung pagodas and visited Bogyoke Aung San Market on 11 May. They also attended the dinner hosted by the military attaché from Royal Thai Air Force.
The delegation headed by Air Marshal Chainat Phonkit left Yangon for Thailand yesterday morning and was seen off by the Tatmadaw (Air) officers. — MNA/KZW
