The Commander-in-Chief (Air) joins the 18th ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference online yesterday.

Thailand hosted the 18th ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference through Video Tele-Conference (VTC) yesterday.
Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw joined the meeting together with the other nine ASEAN Member States’ Air Chiefs virtually.
Firstly, Air Chief Marshal Airbull Suttiwan of Thailand made an opening speech and Group Captain Supachai Upan clarified the decisions made at the ASEAN Air Forces’ Education and Training Working Group – 8th AAFET-WG meeting.
Then, the ASEAN Air Chiefs continued the discussion under the theme of “OPTIMIZING CAPABILITY AND COOPERATION AGAINST NEW CHALLENGES.”
The leaders then approved the outcomes of the meeting, and the Chairmanship of 19th AACC was handed over to Brigadier General Khamlek Sengphachanh of Laos via the Lao Military Attaché to Thailand.
Moreover, the coordination meeting on ASEAN Air Forces’ Education and Training was held between 31 August and 1 September, and two officers of Tatmadaw (Air) joined the event. — MNA
