Currently, the motorbikes imported from the companies are registered at the RTAD office,” said Daw Myint Myint Than, the head of Thanlyin RTAD from Yangon South District.
Recently, Yangon South District RTAD office was moved to Phayagone village at the junction of Myanmar Maritime University and Thilawa road.
To prevent the crowding at the RTAD office, the process for the initial registration of motorcycles, three-wheel cycles, three-wheel vehicles and tractor-trailers requires online booking.
The owner of the motorcycles, three-wheel cycles, three-wheel vehicles and tractor-trailers need to apply for booking starting from 18 January at RTAD website: www.rtad.gov.mm at least one day ahead or maximum 10 days.
