Myanmar fighter Thant Zin is set to participate in the upcoming ONE Friday Fights 81, scheduled to take place on 27 September in Bangkok, Thailand.
Thant Zin will face Japan’s Takeru in a flyweight kickboxing bout, rather than a traditional Muay Thai fight. The match was a last-minute change, as Takeru’s original opponent had to withdraw due to injury, with Thant Zin stepping in as the replacement.
Thant Zin has had two fights under the ONE Championship banner, winning both via knockout. Additionally, another Myanmar fighter, Soe Lin Oo, will also compete at ONE Friday Fights 81. Soe Lin Oo is slated to fight against Algerian Thai fighter Nabil in what promises to be an exciting bout. — Shine Htet Zaw/KZL
