Three Tatmadaw personnel returned from India test positive for COVID-19

Three Defence Services personnel, who recently returned from India, tested positive for COVID-19, according to Tatmadaw True News Information Team.
The team released statements on 27 and 28 June and 3 and 4 July that 48 Tatmadaw personnel who returned from India on 26 June were quarantined at Yangon Region Command, and eight of them tested positive for COVID-19.
Forty military personnel, who had contacts with them, were put under quarantine, and three of them tested positive for COVID-19 after testing them with Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) at the 1,000-bed Defence Services Hospital in Mingalardon.
They are in stable condition receiving medical treatments at the Defence Services Liver Specialist Hospital in Mingalardon. — MNA (Translated by Khine Thazin Han)
