Thukha Dagon Housing residents to benefit from 5 YBS transport lines

Joint Secretary U Lian Cin Mang of the Yangon Region Public Transport Committee has informed the Global New Light of Myanmar (GNLM) that five YBS lines are established to cater to the Thukha Dagon public rental housing residents in Dagon Myothit (South) Township, who will receive their residence permit by the end of August.
He mentioned, “Upon issuance of the residence permit, the existing five bus lines serving this route will extend through the housing complex.”
Situated beyond Yangon University of Economics, near the No 2 toll gate at the convergence of No 2 Highway and No 7 Outer Ring Road, the new housing initiative is somewhat distant from Yangon, posing travel challenges.
The proposed YBS lines, namely No 71, 127, 81, 46, and 1 from four different companies, are set to operate along the housing premises.
For any inconveniences related to the upcoming YBS bus services to Thukha Dagon public rental housing, individuals are encouraged to report them to YRTC. — TWA/CT
