Tickets on sale for Thingyan special trains

Passengers who will return to their hometown and travel by train during the Maha Thingyan holidays can purchase tickets starting from the first week of April, according to the Myanma Railways.
Tickets for Thingyan special trains, which will start running on 7 April, will be sold three days in advance for Upper Class and one day in advance for the ordinary class.
Thingyan special trains —Yangon-Mandalay-Yangon and Yangon-Nay Pyi Taw-Yangon will be operated on 7 April and Yangon-Mawlamyine-Yangon and Yangon-Pyay-Yangon special trains on 8 April.
In addition, all passenger trains will be temporarily suspended during the Thingyan period and special trains will resume on 17 April. Depending on passenger rides, MR plans to operate special trains on 9 and 18 April. – TWA/MKKS
