The number of tourists coming to Myanmar is increasing year by year, with positive reactions from foreign visitors, according to interviews by television journalists.
“Myanmar is always a wonderful place to visit”, said a tourist. “Myanmar people are very kind and are always wearing a smile on their face. I am very proud to visit the Innwa region. When I arrived in the Innwa region, I chose to go round in a pony cart. There are many places to visit there. We can enjoy the beauty of the natural scenes undisturbed by the noise of the vehicles. Myanmar is a place of wonder”.
Along with Mandalay, Innwa is perhaps Myanmar’s most famous old capital and is situated 20 kilometres south of Mandalay. Innwa Bridge, also known as Sagaing Bridge, and the Ayeyawady river attract numerous visitors. There are over 200 pony carts welcoming visitors. Innwa was officially founded on 26 February 1365 (726 ME), and is home to many ancient pagodas.— The mirror
