Township authorities honour outstanding students, schools in matriculation exam


A ceremony to honour outstanding students and schools with high pass rate for 2015 matriculation examination was held at Aung San Hall in Tatkon, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, on 14 June.
Nay Pyi Taw Council member U Myint Shwe praised the outstanding students and schools for their great performances in matriculation examination.
Officials presented prizes and certificates of honour to outstanding students and the schools with high pass rates.
Tatkon Township turned out two four-distinction winners, seven three-distinction winners, 15 two-distinction winners and 68 one-distinction winners among 870 students who passed the exam.  Shadaw Village Basic Education High School Branch stood first with 45.45 percent pass rate, Nyaunglunt BEHS second with 40.86 percent, Tawwin Private High School third with 38.16 percent and Taungpotha BEHS Branch fourth with 30.43 percent.—Tin Soe Lwin  (Tatkon IPRD)
