Training courses to polish skills of staff officers, senior auditors

Accounts proficiency courses are conducted in line with the human resource development programme of the Office of the Auditor-General of the Union under the guidance of the State Administration Council Chairman in order to understand and apply the economics and law subjects, said Auditor-General of the Union Dr Kan Zaw at the ceremony to open the staff officer refresher course 1/2021 and senior auditors’ capacity building course 36 yesterday.
The training courses were organized at the hall of the Office of the Auditor-General of the Union through a virtual system.
The Auditor-General of the Union stressed the need for the trainees to notice that they all are service personnel. The Public Service Personnel Law, handbook and rules prescribe entitlements, duties and social security for service personnel meeting the international standard. He urged them to stay away from party politics as they are service personnel. He called for serving the duty to accomplish the plans adopted for the State, citizen and government.
A total of 109 trainees are attending the staff officer refresher course and 58 at the senior auditors’ capacity building course 36. The courses last for two months till 16 July. — MNA
