Tun Tun Aung and Ye Tun Naung to compete in 13th World Bodybuilding Championship

According to the Myanmar Bodybuilding and Fitness Sports Federation, Myanmar bodybuilders will compete in the 13th World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship to be held in Phuket of Thailand from 6 to 12 December.
Ye Tun Naung will compete in the men’s 65 kg class and Tun Tun Aung in the 60 kg class and the 50-year-old and above class.
“I won gold, silver, and bronze medals in the previous world championships and have won a gold medal in the 1997 SEA Games held in Jakarta, Indonesia. I have experience in competition.
“I expect to win a medal in the 13th World Bodybuilding Championship,” said Tun Tun Aung. Selected athlete Ye Tun Naung won a gold medal in the 31st SEA Games and was the first to compete this world competition. The Myanmar Bodybuilding and Fitness Sports Federation has already selected 19 men and three women for the World Championships, Asian Championships, and the 32nd SEA Games, and they are under training at the camp of the federation in Mingala Taungnyunt Township Development Committee in Yangon City. — Bala Soe/GNLM
