The two COVID-19 patients gave birth to babies in a caesarean section at the Mongphyat Public Hospital of Tachilek District in eastern Shan State yesterday and all were in good health, according to the township public health department.
Dr Ye Khaung and six health workers managed the birth of two baby girls of two women, who had tested positive on 4 and 5 October, in line with the health rules.
The mothers and two newborns are in good health and under the proper medical treatment at the township hospital. — Township IPRD/GNLM
