Two luxury cruise liners, carrying over 800 tourists and over 700 crew members combined, arrived in Yangon yesterday.
The MV Seven Seas Navigator carrying 477 tourists and 430 crew, arranged by Destinations Asia Company, arrived at the Myanmar Integrated Port Limited-MIPL and the MV Silver Shadow carrying 329 passengers and 294 crew, arranged by Myanmar Voyages International Tourism, arrived at the MITT port in Yangon yesterday.
The tourists will visit Yangon from 25 to 28 March. Their next stop is Phukhet in Thailand.
The MV Silver Shadow made its 10th visit to Myanmar.
Over 16 luxury cruise liners from western countries are expected to visit Myanmar in this tourism season, and most are from the United States of America, said U Thet Lwin Toe, Managing Director of the Myanmar Voyages International Tourism Company.
