Two men injured in accidental explosion of handmade bomb in Mon State

Two men were injured in an accidental explosion of a handmade bomb in Thanbyuzayat Township of Mon State on 5 May.
According to an investigation, security forces went to the yard located at No (1) street of Yan Aung May Ward that belongs to Kyi Soe (aka) Ko Phyo, who lives in Yu Ma Wa street of Yan Aung Myay Ward. The blast occurred in his yard, and he was arrested.
The suspect, including Thet Oo and Kyaw Thet Tun, created handmade bombs used in riots in his yard. It accidentally exploded. Thet Oo and Kyaw Thet Tun ran away with injuries after the accident.

The security forces arrested Thet Oo near Mya Mar Lar village in Thanbyuzayat Township. The suspect was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
According to the law, the suspects Kyi Soe (aka) Ko Pyo and Thet Oo will face legal actions. The security forces will investigate to arrest the remaining suspect Kyaw Thet Tun. — MNA
