Two Myanmar players advance to quarter-finals of 2022 Asian Billiards Championship

Two Myanmar billiards players advance to the quarter-finals of the 2022 Asian Billiards Championships on 17 March in Qatar.
Myanmar Billiards players Pauk Sa and Min Si Thu Tun finished second after the group matches.
Min Si Thu Tun is in Group B and defeated Thawat (Thailand) by four matches. He also beat Hang Jae-hoon (South Korea) by 4-0 and lost to Sewala (India) by 4-3.
With one loss, Min Si Thu Tun finished second and already advanced to the next stage.
Pauk Sa was in Group C, beating Mohammad Thara (Sri Lanka) by 4-0 and Hum Choo-ho (South Korea) by 4-0 and Damani (India) by 4-1 and lost to Prabut (Thailand) 4-3 to finish second in the group.
The tournament is divided into three groups, with the top two finishers from each of the three groups advancing to the semi-finals, with the other three runners-up advancing to the quarter-finals.
According to the match schedule, two Myanmar players, Pauk Sa and Min Si Thu Tun are facing each other in the quarter-finals and will play on 18 March. The winner of this match will be competing against famous Indian billiards player Advani. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
