Two Myanmar women referees selected as AFC Elite Referees

Daw Zin Mar Oo and Daw May Thet Phyu, who serve as female referees in the Myanmar Football Federation, will also serve as AFC Elite Referees of the Asian Football Confederation in international competitions, according to the AFC.
Daw Zin Mar Oo and Daw May Thet Phyu attended the AFC Referee & Assistant Referee Selection Course 2023 held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 16 to 19 January, and were selected as AFC Elite Referees for passing the training exam.
Daw Zin Mar Oo is acting as the referee, and Daw May Thet Phyu is acting as the assistant referee.
After two of them became the AFC Elite Referees, there have been five female AFC Elite Referees in Myanmar. Referee Daw Thein Thein Aye, and assistant referees Daw Gay Palaung and Daw Wint Wah Tun are current AFC Elite Referees, said the source with the Myanmar Football Federation. — KZL
