U Ko Ko Hlaing receives Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The Union Minister for International Cooperation receives the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Myanmar.

U Ko Ko Hlaing, Union Minister for International Cooperation of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Mr Saud bin Abdullah Al Subaie, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar at 1:30 pm on 18 March 2022 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
At the meeting, the Union minister congratulated the ambassador for having been appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and briefed on the discussions between Myanmar and Bangladesh regarding the repatriation of displaced persons from Rakhine State.
They cordially exchanged views on the importance of religious harmony, expanding bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade, investment and energy sectors.—MNA
