UCSB Chairman attends 54th anniversary of CICS, ceremony for paper reading (Lower Myanmar)

The 54th anniversary of Central Institute of Civil Service (CICS) in Lower Myanmar was held at the Yadana Theinga Hall of the Central Institute of Civil Service (Lower Myanmar) in Yangon yesterday morning.
Chairman of the Union Civil Service Board Dr. Win Thein, Permanent Secretary, faculty members of the universities, external academicians, invited guests, rector of the CICS (Upper Myanmar), government officials and civil servants were attended the paper reading session.
At the paper reading session, Myanmar Maritime University Rector (Rtd.) Dr. Charlie Than read the paper titled, “Quality Assurance and Public Service Institutions”, Yangon University of Foreign Languages Pro Rector Dr. Yin Myo Thu read the paper titled, “Primary of Universal Norms over Particular Norms in International Relations”, Professor and Head of Psychology Department of the Yangon University Dr. Nilar Kyu read the paper titled, “Domestic Violence in Myanmar”, Professor and Head of Philosophy Department of the University of Yangon Dr. Lei Lei Win read the paper titled, “The Role of Myanmar Poems in Environmental Aesthetic”, Head of the CICS (Lower Myanmar) and Pro Rector (Teaching) Dr. Nant Khin Thin Su read the paper titled, “An Analysis of the capacity development of faculty members from CICS (Lower Myanmar)”, Head of Administration and Finance Department U Tin Shwe read the paper titled, “Administrative Reforms”, Public Administration Department Associate Professor U Than Myint Htay read the paper titled, “Old Public Administration to New Public Management”, and Associate Professor of the Department of Economics Daw Min Min San read the paper titled, “Myanmar Sustainable Development Plan (2018-2030) and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Myanmar”.
The paper reading session was being taken place with the aim of enhancing teaching qualities and techniques of the lecturers, and which will be held until 3rd January.
