UEC Chairman arrives back from Cambodia

At the invitation of the Chairman of the Cambodian Election Commission, the delegation led by Union Election Commission Chair U Thein Soe, who attended the 7th National Assembly Elections of Cambodia from 21 to 25 July, returned to Yangon by air at 5:30 pm yesterday.
During the tour, UEC Chair U Thein Soe and member U Soe Oo attended a meeting to brief international election observers on the process on 22 July. They also observed polling station preparations and voting processes at schools in Cambodia.
After viewing the manner Cambodia’s elections are conducted and the conditions for the opening of polling stations and voting and vote counting, they visited the landmarks and cultural sites of Cambodia. — MNA/KZL
