UNION Election Commission chairman U Tin Aye inspected preparations for the upcoming election in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
He inspected the safeguarding and distribution of ballots in Lewe and Tatkon townships.
During his inspection tour, U Tin Aye discussed the issuance of voter registration certificates, voter education programmes, the copying of voter list, works of the electoral affairs negotiation committee, advance voting processes and arrangements for voters in areas with poor transportation infrastructure.—Myanmar News Agency
