UEC delegation returns from China

The delegation of the Union Election Commission arrives back Yangon from the study tour of China yesterday.

The Myanmar delegation led by U Than Tun, a member of the Union Election Commission, who went on a study tour to the People’s Republic of China at the invitation of the International Affairs Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the People’s Republic of China, returned to Yangon from China yesterday evening.
During the trip, they learned about the development and implementation of agricultural and livestock activities to eliminate poverty in rural areas under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party and the efforts to make Qinghai Province in the Tibetan highlands a clean region.
They observed and discussed carbon reduction and the construction of new electric power, cultural heritage preservation, tourism development, and China-style modern policies for the development of the country. — MNA/KZL
