Ukrainian Naimjon claims WLC belt with defeat of Too Too

Ukrainian Naimjon Tuhtaboyev defeated Myanmar’s lethwei star Too Too with a split decision to claim the World Lethwei Championship belt in the main event of WLC:

Battlebones Lethwei Fight at Theinpyu Lethwei Stadium in Yangon on Friday.
Too Too, former WLC champion, relied on his strong kicks, while Naimjon Tuhtaboyev displayed his accurate punches and strikes.
Both fighters finished the fight with no knockouts, as the Ukrainian fighter was nominated as the better fighter of the match and won the championship title.
In the co-main event, Myanmar’s Soe Min Aung Luktupfah knocked out Cambodia’s Sok Rith in the second round at 1 minute and 31 second.
In the women’s Bantamweight fight event, Souris Manfredi of France defeated Tran Thi Lua of Viet Nam in the first round at 1 minute and 51 second.
In the men’s Welterweight event, Italian Samuel Toscano defeated Myanmar’s Saw Kaung Htet in a split decision.
In the men’s lightweight fight, Myanmar’s Hein Tun Aung defeated Em Sothy of Cambodia in a unanimous decision.—Lynn Thit (Tgi)
