Union Chief Justice U Htun Htun Oo took part in the 8th Meeting of the Council of ASEAN Chief Justices (CACJ) which was organized via videoconferencing yesterday.
From the Supreme Court of the Union, U Htun Htun Oo made an opening remark on the meeting together with chief justices of ASEAN countries, including Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court of Viet Nam Nguyen Hoa Binh who is the rotating chair of the council.
The Myanmar Chief Justice participated in the discussions of ASEAN Judiciaries Portal, the Facilitating Service of Civil Processes within ASEAN, the Case Management and Court Technology, the Judicial Education and Training, the Cross-border Disputes involving Children, the reports from workgroup leaders and representatives of ASEAN+ Meetings, the International Framework for Court Excellence in relation to CACJ, and the COVID-19 Effects on Judiciaries and Solutions.
