Union Construction Minister inspects infrastructure projects in Rakhine

Union Minister for Construction U Shwe Lay inspected along the Sittway-Palinpyin Road together with Rakhine State Government Minister for Social Affairs U Aung Myo on 4 February.
During his inspection tour, the Union minister said that roads and bridges need to be good for the development of the region and the concrete paving also need to be met the specified quality. Then, they inspected the concrete paving work.
A class-A type Sittway-Palinpyin concrete road is nine miles and six furlongs long. By implementing this road, it will benefit over 1,300 people from 273 households in 12 villages, it is learnt.
Then, the Union minister and his team inspected the construction of the civil servant rental housing project and instructed them to pay attention to the quality and strength of the building. The civil servant rental housing project includes four four-storey buildings. It contains 64 units.
After that, the Union minister and his team inspected the Sittway-Wabo Creek Bridge construction site and the Minbu-An-Sittway road construction site. — MNA
