Nay Pyi Taw, 8 Dec —Union Minister U Wunna Maung Lwin,  Chairman of the United Nations and International Organizations Relations Sub-Committee for Myanmar’s graduation from LDC status, received Mr. Gyan Chandra Acharya, Under Secretary-General of the United Nations and High Representative of Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries, and Small Island Developing States (UN-OCHRLLS) who is currently in the country at the invitation of Myanmar in his office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on 8 December 2014 morning. At the meeting, Union Minister discussed and exchanged views on possible technical assistance and expertise on Myanmar’s efforts towards graduation from LDC status.
The Union Minister hosted a dinner to Mr Gyan Chandra Acharya and party at the Kempinski Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw.
The union minister also received Brazil’s ambassador to Myanmar, Mr Alcides Gastao Rostand  Prates, at the ministry on Monday and discussed promotion of relations and cooperation between the two countries.
