Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than and Myanmar delegation members, who are joining the China-ASEAN Forum on Emerging Industry being held in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, People’s Republic of China, attended the China-ASEAN Sub-Forum on NEV Industry Cooperation yesterday morning.
At the meeting, the China-ASEAN industry ministers discussed cooperation between themselves for creation of sound foundations for emerging industries in developing countries, sharing knowledge for the safe use of charging stations for EVs and provision of good services in the manufacture and sale of electric cars and the current management conditions for electric cars.
Those participants from the forum widely observed the progress of developing long-term plans for electric vehicles (EV) in ASEAN countries, standing of the People’s Republic of China in the first position of exporting EVs across the world, construction of the charging stations, and charging technologies. — MNA/KZW
