Union Information Minister attends book donation event

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn attended the event of donating the book “various life-struggle” written by author Myingyan Kyaw Aung (aka) Than Htet San to the ministry held at Hotel Yangon in Mayangon Township, Yangon yesterday.
First, the Union minister said the donated books will be sent to the libraries of IPRD opened in districts and townships registering systematically to lend to the public free of charge. The mobile library will carry the books to the basic education schools and wards/villages.
The development of literature can create a community with well-educated and polite people and produce perfect human resources for the country. All citizens should read to promote their lives, families, and communities and participate in State development activities
Then, donor Myingyan Kyaw Aung (aka) Than Htet San donated 410 copies of the book to the Union minister.
On 10 March, the Union Minister enjoyed the live broadcasting programme of MRTV-HD’s “Pyi Chit Thar Mon Tay Thawun” music concert 3 marking the 78th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day.
First, the Union minister cordially greeted the artistes and guests at the concert. The MRTV-HD broadcast the live streaming of the singing concert hailing the 78th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day.
The MRTV presents creative and active entertainment programmes marking significant days in the country in addition to the Friday Night Live Show to entertain the public.
The “Pyi Chit Thar Mon Tay Thawun” music concert 3 was broadcast on MRTV HD Channel at 9 pm on 10 March and the replay will be at 10:30 am on 11 March.—MNA/KTZH
