Union Information Minister-led delegation embarks on diplomatic tours in China

Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn pays observation tours around the Yunnan Agricultural University yesterday.

Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn visited Yunnan Agricultural University, Luosiwan International Trade City and Kunming International Flora Auction Trading Centre along with the dignitaries of Mekong regions yesterday.
On arrival at the data centre of Yunnan Agricultural University, the tour group observed the collection of data through research, poultry farming-related educating programmes and food products produced by the students.
During the visit, the Union minister met two PhD students out of three from Yezin Agricultural University of Myanmar and enjoyed the launch with them after providing cash assistance.
At the Luosiwan International Trade City, they explored the formation of a city with over 33,000 stalls, zonal planning and endeavours to become a great wholesale supplier to South Asia and Southeast Asia.
Additionally, they headed to the Kunming International Flora Auction Trading Centre which is the second largest in the world and China’s largest fresh cut flower market and they observed its trade volume and export value. — MNA/KTZH
