Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San inspected Meiktila Central Institute of Transportation and Communications, Road Transport Administration Department (Meiktila district), Department of Transport planning (Meiktila district), Road Transport (freight) and operations of Kerry Mother Terminal and Logistics Limited, Resource Group Logistics Co. Ltd in Dry Port of Myitnge including Myitnge carriage and wagon factory on 29 April.
During his inspection tour, he met the departmental heads and staff officers. He discussed the projects, budget, allowance system for the staff, and building of new carriage and wagon factory at Myitnge. The Union Minister instructed the necessary things and provided the food aids to the staff.
He also highlighted the five-point roadmap of the State Administration Council, the occurrence of riots and attacks on the security forces and innocent people due to the incitement of unscrupulous persons, other incitement to government employees to join CDM, prosecution under section 505-a.
The Union Minister said that according to the SAC’s instruction, the government would withdraw lawsuits opened against CDM participants with recommendation letters of department heads, regional organizations and law firms and their pledges when they return to their duties.
The departments without regular workload are likely to suspend, and so it should consider resuming the operations as usual. The government employees also should carry out their respective departments by showing their loyalty to the state.
He also inspected the teaching aid materials, office buildings and Dry Port of the respective institute of transport and departments. — MNA
