Union Minister Dr Pwint San conducts field visit to Magway Region

Union Minister for Commerce Dr Pwint San conducted a field visit to the domestic production sector sites and facilitated trade in Magway Region on 15 May.
First, officials from Good Brothers Company explained the establishment of a cattle-breeding farm in Yae Pyae village, Myothit Township, Magway District.
Next, Union Minister Dr Pwint San discussed preparing necessary arrangements in order to facilitate the flow of goods and foreign trade, export agricultural products and cattle to foreign countries, have food safety and necessary health recommendations for cattle export, and systematically obtain relevant certificates.
The Union Minister also called for disseminating technology and support to those who want to carry out modern livestock farming in the region.
Next, Union Minister Dr Pwint San visited the Amay Htwar groundnut oil mill in Magway. The Union Minister said that he would make arrangements to support the improvement of domestically produced oil.
Afterwards, the Union Minister and party met with traders and industrialists in Magway Region.
First, the Magway Region Administration Council Member (2) stated that the production of oilseeds like sesame, the plans to establish livestock breeding zones, and further plans to develop livestock farming and manufacture value-added local products of Magway Industrial Zone were discussed. Next, Magway Region Chairman of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry and members of the association stated processes of agricultural products being exported to the Muse border and issues of regional trade and flow of goods and finding methods to grow more oilseeds in the oil industry were also discussed.
Then, Union Minister Dr Pwint San coordinated the necessary measures to increase the production of oilseeds.
Next, the Union Minister and party visited the Sesame Powder Mill of the Myay Latt Thar General Trading Cooperative Society in Magway and coordinated the necessary matters. — MNA/ GNLM
