Union Minister Lt-Gen Ye Aung received UN High Commissioner for Refugees Mr. Filippo Grandi at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, they discussed implementation of socio-economic development, implementation of suggestions of advisory commission on Rakhine state, livelihoods of IDPs, accepting and resettling them, help given to immigrant workers by related departments, the ministry’s work on closing of IDPs in Myebon and teaming up with other ministry in closing the rest of the IDP camps.—MNA
