U Thaung Tun, Union Minister for the Office of the Union Government, received Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan (National Security), Mr. Kentaro Sonoura at 11 am on 8 February 2018 at the Ministry of the Union Government Office in Nay Pyi Taw.
They exchanged views on Myanmar-Japan bilateral relations, the peace process and Japan’s Free and Open Indo-Pacific Strategy. The meeting was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of the Office of the Union Government.
