Union Minister for Labour, Immigration and Population U Thein Swe received Mr. Scot Marciel, American Ambassador to Myanmar and party at the Ministry office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday at 3:45 pm.
During the meeting, matters relating to step by step implementation for peace , stability, reconstruction and development in Rakhine state, negotiation between Myanmar and Bangladesh to repatriate people who were in Bangladesh, scrutinizing and repatriation work process by setting up repatriation camps based on 1993 repatriation experience, implementation of issuing NV cards and national verification work based on report of the Advisory Commission on Rakhine State and status of United States of America cooperating and assisting in these works were discussed.
