SAC Member Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Defence Admiral Tin Aung San received Russian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Iskander Azizov at the ministry office yesterday afternoon.
During the meeting, they openly exchanged views on issues related to military-technological cooperation and training between the two armies, as well as the conditions for further increasing defence cooperation between Myanmar and the Russian Federation.
On the same day, the Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw also received Russian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Iskander Azizov at his ministry office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on human resource development activities, education and research cooperation, nuclear technology for peaceful purposes, joint implementation for socioeconomic development, the Myanmar-Russia science and technology sector plus educational missions. — MNA/KZL
