The asphalt repaving work is underway on Maha Bandoola Road in Lanmadaw Township.

A new layer of asphalt is being added on Maha Bandoola Road and Strand Road in Lanmadaw Township before the rainy season and two large drains have been constructed across Anawrahta Road near the Sanpya cinema on Phonegyi Road to ensure a smooth flow of water.
Ko Tayoke, a taxi driver, told the Global New Light of Myanmar (GNLM) that he saw asphalt paving work underway along Maha Bandoola Road in Lanmadaw Township on 7 May.
Most roads in Yangon have been converted into concrete roads but some concrete roads have been covered with a layer of asphalt.
By the end of 2024, a large number of vehicles will be passing through Dala Bridge in Lanmadaw Township, so some vehicle owners say that repaving a new layer of asphalt on the roads in the township can reduce traffic accidents. — TWA//MKKS
