Vacant lots become vegetable patches under police programme

Police and their family members are turning vacant lots into vegetable gardens in Natogyi Township, Mandalay Region, under a land-cultivation programme run by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Myanmar Police Force.
The police and their families will be able to keep produce grown on the plots held by the ministry and the department.
The police led by Commander of Township Police Force Police Major Win Soe and officials have also carried out public welfare tasks in the township, including cleaning of the local hospital.–Khin Zar Mon Myint (Law)
