Vaccination drive continues in Tatkon Township

The first COVID-19 vaccination programme for above 18-year-old people was held for the fifth time at 9 am on 9 October at the No. (1) Basic Education High School campus, Aung Zeya Ward, Tatkon Township, Union Territory in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the vaccination campaign, the people who came to be vaccinated were transported to designated places.
Officials also provided necessary assistance and made a systematic recording for the vaccinated person.
A total of 6,156 local people including 998 people on the first day, 1,835 people on the second day, 1,788 people on the third day, and 1,535 people on the fourth day came and got the COVID vaccines.
The COVID-19 vaccine is given to local people over 18 years of age in Tatkon Township.
Departmental staff, volunteers, Township Health Department officials and the Military Medical Team from Tatkon and township officials assisted in the vaccination campaign following the health directives. — Tin Soe Lwin (IPRD)/GNLM
