Vaccination for above 12-year-old students conducted in Bahan Township

According to the motto “To make every school-age child healthy and happy to study, let’s get vaccinated against COVID-19,” the health officials conducted the vaccination programme using Sinovac vaccines for the students aged 12 and above in Bahan Township of Yangon Region in October.
The township education department and administrator participated in a vaccination campaign for the students, teachers and parents including the entire public.
The middle and high school students aged over 12 received at the respective vaccination sites such as E.M.P.S, Aung Myay Thukha and Satu Bummika, No (1) B.E.M.S, No (3) B.E.M.S and No (3) Post B.E.P.S in Bahan Township yesterday.
The health officials and members of the Red Cross Society checked the health status of students and vaccinated the students in line with the health rules.
A total of 352 students were vaccinated against COVID-19 at the respective vaccination sites.
The township administrator U Aung Myint Tun, COVID-19 control and emergency response committee members, police and relevant other officials participated in the vaccination processes for the students. — Aung Myint (IPRD)/GNLM
