According to the instructions of the Head of State and the Union Minister, Shan State Small-scale Industry Department conducted the value-added food production training based on vegetables and crops in No (2) Ward of Aungban of Kalaw Township in Southern Shan State yesterday.
During the opening ceremony, Deputy Director-General of Small-scale Industry Department (Nay Pyi Taw head office) made a remark adding to emerge the entrepreneurs who produce food with rice, bean, corn, wheat and regional crops at low costs, to produce new product such as One Village-One Product and to open training to know the instructions.
Then, Aungban town elder U Moe Kyaw expressed words of thanks.
The training will offer six subjects and the demonstrators of Small-scale Industry Department (Nay Pyi Taw and Shan State) will run the lecture and practical sessions for seven days, and a total of 20 locals from the villages of Kalaw Township join the class.—Sai Than Kyaw (Taunggyi)/GNLM
