Vice President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Nyan Tun met with Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Sen at the Peace Palace on Thursday morning.
Present at the meeting were deputy ministers U Thant Kyaw, U Kyaw Kyaw Win, U Maw Thar Htwe, Shan State Transportation Minister U Sai Naw Kham and ministers of transportation, industry, agriculture and foreign affairs of Cambodia.
They discussed joint commission between the two countries, economic cooperation of CLMV, cooperation in grain trade, energy, tourism and culture through economic cooperation strategy of  the Ayeyawady, Chao Phraya and Mekong, mutual support in regional and international issues and cooperation between the two parliaments and  the two armed forces.
Afterwards, the delegation led by the vice president left for Siem Reap where the governor of the state welcomed the delegation.
Then, the vice president and party visited Angkor Wat Temple, one of the most important historical heritages of Southeast Asia.  With an area of 400 square kilometer, the Khmer historical heritage was built between 9th Century and 15 Century AD. The UNESCO has adopted comprehensive programmes to preserve the historical heritage with the help of 16 countries including the German Conservation Project.
