Vice-Senior General Soe Win comforts internally displaced persons in Lashio

State Administration Council Vice-Chair Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Vice-Senior General Soe Win and his wife Daw Than Than Nwe meet internally displaced persons in Lashio yesterday.

State Administration Council Vice-Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe met the internally displaced persons at Thiri Mingala Mansu Shan Monastery in Lashio yesterday.
On arrival at the Thiri Mingala Mansu Shan Monastery, the Vice-Senior General and the party paid homage to the abbot of the monastery Agga Maha Ganthavacaka Pandita Agga Maha Kammathanacariya Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Dr Bhaddanta Puñña Nanda.
Then, they donated the offertories to Sayadaw and received Dhamma presents from Sayadaw in return.
They also presented clothes, rice, cooking oil and foodstuffs provided by the Prime Minister to temporary IDPs in Lashio.
They then cordially met with the temporary IPDs at the monastery. — MNA/KTZH
