Vice-Senior General Soe Win comforts Tatmadaw members, MPF members, people’s militia receiving treatments for their wounds in serving State defence and security duties

State Administration Council Vice-Chair Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win warmly encourages the injured Tatmadaw, MPF and people’s militia members yesterday in Lashio.

Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, accompanied by his wife Daw Than Than Nwe, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and officials, spoke words of honour and comforted officers, other ranks, Myanmar Police Force members and people’s militia members who were wounded in serving State defence and security duties, at the local military hospital in Lashio, Shan State (North), yesterday morning.
At the local military hospital in Lashio, the Vice-Senior General, wife, and party asked those patients about the conditions of their wounds in serving the State defence and security duties, receiving medical treatment, recovery of their wounds, and progress of health conditions. They fulfilled the needs of those patients and presented cash awards, foodstuffs and blankets to them.
The Vice-Senior General presented cash awards to the commandant for health staff serving at the hospital.
At local regiments and units in Lashio, the Vice-Senior General and wife cordially greeted female military personnel and families and fulfilled their needs. Then, they handed over clothes, kitchen materials, cash assistance and foodstuffs presented by the SAC Chairman Prime Minister Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services to those families. — MNA/TTA
