Victory moves Dagon Star FC to 6th place

Dagon Star FC beat ISPE FC 1-0 at the Week-19 match of the Myanmar National League 2023 season played at Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon yesterday.
The Dagon Star team won the match with defender Nyein Chan’s goal in the second half and was able to move up to sixth place. As for ISPE FC, they suffered another defeat, and the gap with the third-placed Hanthawady team was reduced to nine points, and they will have to try to enter the top five.
Both teams came out with a full set of core players and were able to attack each other with similar skills. The winning goal for the Dagon Star team was scored by Nyein Chan with a header in the 52nd minute.
ISPE FC had more than three chances to score in this match, but failed to capitalize on them and suffered a defeat. Nyein Chan, who scored the winning goal, won the best player award for this match.
