Vocational training course for adults with disabilities to begin in September

A second three-month vocational training course for the 2024-2025 academic year will commence on 9 September at the School for Adults with Disabilities (Yangon), according to the Department of Social Welfare.
The course will offer training in hair-cutting, tailoring, computer skills, photography, and screen printing.
Individuals with disabilities aged between 18 and 45 are eligible to apply. Selected applicants will receive free accommodation, meals, and educational materials throughout the training period, as well as travel expenses to and from Yangon for those residing outside the city.
Interested individuals can submit their applications to the School for Adults with Disabilities (Yangon), located within the Social Welfare Training Institute compound at 65 on Kyaikwyne Pagoda Street in Mayangon Township, Yangon. — TWA/MKKS
