Wife of Japanese PM donates cash, stationery to monasteries, nunneries

A delegation led by Mrs Akie Abe, wife of the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe, currently visiting Myanmar under the programme of the Greater Mekong Initiative, donated cash and stationery to the MyoOo Monastic school yesterday morning  at Ward 51 in North Dagon’s Myothit Township, Yangon Region.
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s wife and party visited the Myitta Yaungchi Nunnery School in South Dagon’s Myothit township, Saddhamma Jotikayum Shwe Kyin Monastic school in Thanlyin township, Dhammadipa Monastic school in Sitagu International Buddhist Academy and Mary Chapman School for the Deaf in Dagon Township, and donated cash and stationery to each of the schools.—Myanmar News Agency
