Women’s FIFA Ranking: Myanmar team stands eighth in Asia

The Myanmar women’s national football team is currently among the top ten Asian teams, with standing in the Asian level and garnered 44th position in FIFA world ranking and 1,511 total points earned, according to an updated FIFA statement this month.
Two ASEAN women’s football teams, Viet Nam and Thailand, are also included in the topten list for Asia.
Team Viet Nam is currently in the fifth place among the best of Asian teams, with a 32nd world ranking and 1,657 total points, while Team Thailand is following Viet Nam in sixth place, collecting 1,596 total points and 38th in the FIFA world ranking.
Next to the Thai team, Chinese Taipei team is standing in the seventh place with 39th of FIFA ranking.
Australia remained the best team in Asia, with first place in Asian level and seventh of FIFA world ranking, while Japan is the second-best Asian team, with a world ranking of 10.
China team is the third-best among Asian teams, with 15th FIFA world ranking, and the South Korea team is the fourth-best in Asia, ranking 18th in the world.
The United States women’s national football team, is currently the best in the world with winning a total of four FIFA Women’s World Cups, and four Olympic women’s gold medals, according to the statement with the FIFA. —Lynn Thit (Tgi)
