XXXII SEA Games ends with fascinating closing

The XXXII South East Asian Games hosted by Cambodia was concluded with a closing ceremony at the Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh, Cambodia yesterday.
Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen attended the event, which was closed by various entertainments.
Athletes from ASEAN countries took their places in the field and the volunteers who helped in the competition were also present. In addition, the flag was handed over to Thailand, which will host the next SEA Games.
The XXXII SEA Games were held from 29 April to 17 May, and more than 6,000 athletes from all 11 Southeast Asian countries competed.
The tourney included 36 kinds of sports and a total of 586 gold medals were awarded.
Viet Nam took the first place by collecting 136 golds, 105 silvers, and 114 bronzes and Thailand is standing in the second with 108 golds, 96 silvers, and 108 bronzes.
Indonesia is in third with 87 golds. 80 silvers, and 109 bronzes and host Cambodia in the fourth with 80 golds, 74 silvers, and 127 bronzes.
The Philippines occupied the fifth place with 58 golds, 86 silvers, and 116 bronzes while Singapore took the sixth with 51 golds, 42 silvers, and 64 bronzes.
Malaysia took seventh with 34 golds, 45 silvers, and 97 bronzes, and Myanmar in eighth with 21 golds, 25 silvers, and 68 bronzes.
Laos is in the ninth with six golds, 22 silvers, and 60 bronzes, and Brunei is in the tenth with two golds, one silver and eight bronzes.
