Yadanabon FC garners victory in final match of MNL 1st round

The final week of the first round of the 2022 season of the Myanmar National League continued on 25 August at the Thuwunna Stadium, and Yadanabon won against ISPE FC by 3-1.
At the end of the first round, the Yadanabon team achieved a series of good results and was able to move up to 4th place.
This match was an important match for the 4th place, and because ISPE FC suffered a defeat, it was only able to stand in 6th place after the first round.
Both teams used core players for the decisive match.
After the return of Hline Bo Bo, the team’s midfield plays improved, and in this match, they were able to control the midfield from the start of the game.
In the first three minutes of the match, Yadanabon made an opener and Thet Naing scored the opening goal through an assist from Ye Yint Aung.
After scoring the goal, the Yadanabon team dominated the game Thet Naing scored another goal at 31 minutes and Ye Yint Aung scored the third or winning goal at 44 minutes. Yadanabon FC led the first half with 3-0.
ISPE FC did not show their usual performance in this match and struggled due to conceding a goal at the beginning of the match. In the second half, the Yadanabon team was able to show better performance and had many opportunities to score more goals, but they were unable to capitalize on them.
An equalizing goal for ISPE was scored by Kyi Soe in extra time.
After the first round, defending champion Shan United is still leading the standing table with 25 points while Yangon is following Shan with 19 points.
Myawady FC is in third place with 18 points and Ayeyawady and ISPE FC are standing in fourth with 14 points each.
Hanthawady United is fifth with 11 points and Maha United has earned nine points and stands in sixth. GFA FC has collected sixth points in total while Rakhine United has no win. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
